Hall Seals Derby Double as Bards See Off Leamington
Stratford Town beat Leamington 2–1 at the Arden Garages Stadium to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season in a fiercely contested derby.

A large derby-day crowd packed the Arden Garages, with a sizeable travelling contingent of Leamington supporters — who arrived by train and were marched through Stratford under police escort — creating a charged atmosphere behind the goal their side were attacking in the first half.
Reece Flanagan's penalty gave the Bards a deserved first-half lead, and although Leamington levelled early in the second half through a poorly-defended set piece, Kobe Hall restored the advantage with just over twenty minutes to play and Stratford held on despite sustained late pressure. The commentator noted these were the club's first two wins of the season, following the earlier victory over Banbury.

Stratford were the better side for much of the afternoon — dominant in the air at set pieces, industrious in midfield and a constant threat through Hall — and on the balance of the commentary deserved the three points. They face their next test on Tuesday evening with an away trip to Stamford.
